Software Overview
RealTele was recorded with twelve dynamic sample layers for every fret, covering playing dynamics from soft touches through hard-picked notes. The sampling approach retains details such as string buzz and percussive attack to provide a more expressive response when the instrument is played from a keyboard or MIDI controller.
The instrument includes independently sampled single-coil pickups as well as a separately captured middle pickup position. Rather than digitally combining the two pickup signals, the Both position represents the interaction of both pickups on the physical instrument.
RealTele also provides a tone control that works as a high-frequency filter before the effects chain. This allows the tonal response to behave more like a physical guitar control, producing a softer character on clean sounds or a denser voice with higher-gain processing.
